Rude Wear began as a series of smart-assed remarks that have been refined over the years into Smug remarks and One-liners that most everyone can enjoy. And, for those who don’t, obviously, they are in the wrong place :). Our founder, a seasoned mechanic, combined his love for working with his hands, as well as humor, combined with a passion for bold fashion. Inspired by the grit and determination of American workers, he set out to create a line of apparel that embodies the spirit of those who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. With each piece crafted in the USA, we are committed to delivering high-quality, unapologetic designs that speak to the rebel in all of us.

The Vision Takes Shape
A baby was born. A male. At Christmas time. What a way to start out. Ruining everyones holiday.

1975
First Collection Launch
1977 Smokey and the Bandit debuts. Setting the idea of witty humor and, the words “Sum’ bitch” into our vocabulary.
Rude Wear debuts its first collection, capturing the essence of American grit and craftsmanship.
1985
Expansion and Recognition
1987- First job in a shop. Finding out that blue collar men cannot only be workers, but comedians as well.
Gaining traction, Rude Wear expands its product line and gains recognition for its bold designs.
2000
Going Global
2026- Rude Wear is launched to let the people share our visions of having enough of the PC life
